Liminal Lamp is a lighting work developed as an extension of Liminal Objects, built from cut MDF parts assembled into a three-dimensional grid. A paper shade appears to float within it. The grid supports the shade, carries the power cord, and reflects the softened light, acting as a second diffuser.

We were drawn to how illumination reveals the grid's contrasting qualities, particularly in darkness. Its divisions remain precise, yet light and shadow make the structure appear less solid. Some planes catch the glow while others recede, allowing the rigid construction to feel light and almost immaterial.
